JARMILA BRIXOVÁ

Together with Stanka, we founded our company Wellbeing – The Art of Living in the autumn of 2018. Our aim is to bring individuals and organizations new perspectives on how to live meaningfully and contentedly, as well as practical solutions on how to change their lives.

I have been working in the field of development, management, and care of people for more than 20 years. For 10 years, I held a managerial position at the international consulting company Deloitte, where I managed large HR transformation projects, set up complete HR processes in start-up companies and participated in a number of projects focused on people development as well as corporate culture change. I started my professional journey by coordinating a large HR outsourcing project for the French retail chain Carrefour. Next, I gained valuable experience working for the government agency CzechInvest, providing a complete HR consulting service for incoming investors and at the same time, creating programs through which Czech companies drew financial support from EU funds. I built the human relations management department at the large gastronomic company Zátiší Group and subsequently worked there as HR Director and Chief Happiness Officer for three years.

Besides, I have been cooperating with the non-profit company Aperio as a lecturer and coach,Since 2013, andas a counselor since 2017. I am also part of the British Chamber of Commerce Equilibrium’s training program as a mentor. I have been cooperating with the Department of Andragogy at Charles University for a long time, and this year, together with Stanka, we have been conducting seminars concerning wellbeing and its five pillars.

During my five years in Romania, I got the opportunity to attend coaching training with French master coach Alan Cardon, and thanks to that I set out on a journey to get to know myself explore the aspects of content and meaningful life. This journey led me to wellbeing itself.

Together with Jarmila, we founded our company Wellbeing – The Art of Living in the autumn of 2018. Our aim is to bring individuals and organizations new perspectives on how to live meaningfully and contentedly, as well as practical solutions on how to change their lives.

Working with people (for more than 25 years)provides me with opportunities to explore and share the topics I have had discovered myself at various stages of my life. Topics that resonated, inspired, and support me in my personal growth also help to my clients to make a shift in their lives. It is very fulfilling for me to help others to live their challenges and dreams in new ways and accompany them in their personal and professional growth with respect and understanding.

On my professional journey, I have gone through many roles (teacher, owner of the language school, project manager, NGO director, lecturer, facilitator, HR consultant and coach). For three years I was a member of an international team of facilitators and participated in the creating and managing projects for social workers and young leaders in Iceland, Belgium, Lithuania and Macedonia, Slovakia, and Singapore. I helped the MBA teams at INSEAD France, and Singapore to understand the dynamics of their relationships and gain insights on their teamwork.

As part of my consulting work at Deloitte, I worked on transformational projects focused on developing and implementing new HR strategy, performance management, training and development, mapping and setting up HR processes and the implementation of internal communication tools.

I had a wonderful opportunity to work as a lecturer and facilitator in self-experiential programs aimed at understanding the basic direction, bringing own “humanity” and authenticity into personal and professional life and awareness of personal power and strength. I finished basic training in facilitation of group processes and in process-oriented psychology.

In 2014 I discovered wellbeing with its five pillars that set me off to my personal journey of finding my own wellbeing. I have encountered neuroscience and habits that allow me to make changes in my life and not only to research wellbeing, but also to live it.
